A 50-minute one-man show featuring a poem and a short story by Edgar Allan Poe. Join us for an exclusive performance by author and actor, Vivaan Shah!
The short story being performed is a funny and entertaining one! It is entitled, 'The System of Dr. Tarr and Prof. Fether'. The story is about an insane asylum, and is in equal parts humourous and horrific, satirical and suspenseful, philosophical and phantasmagoric! It contains Poe's trademark surrealism and his hypnotic suspense, and also plenty of wit, mischief, and comedic brilliance!
Vivaan has, as yet, performed 16 shows of his one-man Edgar Allan Poe show. Four in Prithvi House, three in Bangalore, one in Mumbai, and two in Delhi, as well as one at the Bangalore Gymkhana for the 125th Anniversary of their library.
