#IndiaisCalling
There is no country like India for travellers.
Ajay Jain makes this statement with emphasis not as a patriot but after having driven across the country for over a decade. And thus the #IndiaisCalling series.
Get transported. Twice. Once, when you read the books. And again, when you go exploring for yourself.

The Journey Started in 2007. In Ajay Jain’s Own Words:
It all started in the summer of 2007 when I found myself at crossroads in life. I was not going anywhere. So I decided to go everywhere. As a travel writer. To discover my own country for myself.
The whimsical decision resulted in the compilation of a series of books, one of which you are holding currently. These are not travel guides but anecdotal compilations – illustrated with photographs – of my travels across India and Nepal.
No travel writing can claim to offer more than a peek of what lies on this vast and beautiful planet of ours. And each of us looks at these through our unique lens. And that is what makes storytelling around travel so charming – we go to the same place, and yet it is different for each of us.
Whatever you read and see are frozen circa 2007 – 2020. The experience and attractions of destinations covered may have changed when you visit yourself, but these volumes can also serve as time capsules for future generations.
Get inspired. And pack your bags. After all, what are we if not travellers?
